
The Mystery Of Irma Vep by Charles Ludlam of the Ridiculous Theatre Company will continue its run November 1 through 10. It plays Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. Thursday, November 1 is Community Night: pay what you can at 8 p.m. The show features sisters Justina Trova and Alexia Trainor and is directed by Wendy Walraven.

Friday October 26th and Saturday October 27th The Mystery of Irma Vep by Charles Ludlam will begin its three week run at Main Street Stage. The play is directed by Wendy Walraven. The cast features sisters Alexia Trainor and Justina Trova. Friday and Saturday’s festivities begin at 6 p.m with wine and hors d’oeuvres, catered by Robin Anish of A Spendid Table, and the performance will begin at 7 p.m. After the performance dessert and coffee will be served and door prizes donated from North Adams Cinema, Mill City Productions, Drury Drama Team and Where’d You Get That? will be given away. Tickets are $35 per person or $50 per couple. Tickets are available in advance at Papyri Book Store on Eagle Street in North Adams and Where’d You Get That? on Spring Street in Williamstown in addition to the Main Street Stage box office at 413-663-3240.
On Sunday October 28th Main Street Stage will be partnering with Inkberry, Drury High School, Conte Middle School and The North Adams Public Library for Writer’s (Cell) Block, a scary story contest for middle and high school age students. All winners (there will be four from each age group) will have their work read by a professional actor. The three runners up in each category will be featured in a reading at the North Adams Public Library, 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct 13th. The library readings will be free and open to the public. Grand prize winners will have their stories read at the Main Street Stage, Sunday, Oct. 28 at 7 P.M. Tickets are $5.00.
All proceeds from these events will go toward Main Street Stage’s 2008 season.
